Our 2,700-square-foot Colonnade Ballroom has a restored 1924 one-of-a-kind Wurlitzer Organ. This is the perfect room for meals, themed functions, wine tastings, receptions, and letting your hair down after an intensive meeting.
Connected to the Colonnade Ballroom is 24 Market. During breakfast this space holds our delicious southern breakfast buffet. Once breakfast service has concluded it is closed for private functions. 24 Market is the perfect location for a lunch for up to 80 people or a fun casual reception.
Hotel 24 South has been certified by the Virginia Tourism Corporation as Virginia Green.
Our proudest green initiative is our Rooftop Herb Garden. Together, the Hotel 24 South staff planted a garden of herbs in the recycled plastic and metal food containers from the hotel kitchen. We salvage the water runoff from the air conditioning system to water the plants. Our culinary team uses the herbs we grow for meal preparation.
These hotels are run by real people with true passion for your experience of their city. Expect intuitive service instead of scripted interactions. Expect the scoop on local hotspots, instead of glossy handouts of mainstream mediocrity. Expect hospitality as it should be.
